The guest rooms are all located off the main farmhouse, with its beautiful wrap-around verandah (called a “stoep” in the Afrikaans vernacular) the perfect place to enjoy early morning coffees and nightcaps. The farmhouse offers an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, all opening out onto the lovingly landscaped gardens and stunning bush beyond. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with state-of-the-art modern appliances, making self-catering an absolute breeze.

There is a wonderful open fireplace for the chillier nights and a cosy lounge area where guests can curl up and relax.

Outside, a raised viewing deck adjacent to the swimming pool offers uninterrupted views out over the surrounding bush of the Greater Kruger National Park. An eye-level hide is accessed from a short tunnel under the electric fence around the property, offering a unique view of the waterhole in front of the house. There is also a sleep-out deck where guests can spend the night, under mosquito nets, and experience the thrill of sleeping under the African stars.

More than just a safari destination, Tumbeta House is a home for the soul, where you can truly switch off and just live in each exceptional moment.
