1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing or using DjumaCam at cam.djuma.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

DjumaCam is a volunteer-operated platform that enables registered camera operators ("zoomies") to remotely control a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera at Djuma Game Reserve in South Africa. The live video feed is broadcast to the public via YouTube. cam.djuma.com provides the camera control interface for approved operators only.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND APPROVAL

• You must register for an account to use DjumaCam

• New accounts are placed in "pending" status until approved by an administrator

• Approval is at the sole discretion of DjumaCam administrators

• You must provide accurate information during registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. CAMERA OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a zoomie, you agree to:

• Operate the camera responsibly and in good faith

• Prioritise wildlife viewing for the YouTube audience

• Follow any guidance or protocols provided by administrators

• Not interfere with other operators' sessions

• Not use camera controls to harass, stalk, or track specific individuals

• Not deliberately point the camera away from wildlife for extended periods

• Yield control gracefully when your session ends or when requested

5. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service

• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

• Use automated scripts or bots to control the camera

• Share your account credentials with others

• Impersonate another person or operator

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the camera control systems

• Record or redistribute the control interface (the YouTube stream is public)

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• The DjumaCam name, logo, and branding are property of Djuma Game Reserve

• Video content captured by the camera is property of Djuma Game Reserve

• You retain no rights to recordings or broadcasts made during your sessions

• The public YouTube broadcast is provided under YouTube's terms

7. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

• DjumaCam is provided on a volunteer, best-effort basis

• We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted service

• The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, weather, wildlife, or other factors

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice

8. ACCESS REVOCATION

We may suspend or revoke your access at any time if:

• You violate these Terms of Service

• You misuse camera controls or act irresponsibly

• Your conduct negatively impacts other operators or viewers

• We determine, in our sole discretion, that revocation is necessary

Access revocation decisions are final.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

DjumaCam uses third-party services including:

• Google (for authentication via Google Sign-In)

• YouTube (for public broadcast)

Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Terms of Service. By using DjumaCam, you also acknowledge YouTube's Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) govern the public broadcast.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DJUMACAM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE (WHICH IS ZERO, AS THE SERVICE IS FREE).

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DjumaCam, Djuma Game Reserve, and their operators, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
