Dwarf Coral Tree Erythrina humeana

  • This is a deciduous tree, which grows upto 4m high.
  • They can be found mostly in wooded grassland areas and are found from Mozambique to the Eastern Cape.
  • Their flowers are a bright red colour, produced from September To March and fruits from December to May.
  • An excellent tree for attracting birds to the garden.
  • Extracts from the roots are used to treat coughs and sprained limbs.
