Drum Beat
Honeymoon for 26
A great weekend was celebrated with Corinne and Jason Jedwood here at Djuma Game Reserve from 21 to 23 August 1998. Their friends and family joined them in an exciting opportunity to enjoy our wildlife at its best. Some of the game sightings included wild dogs on a kill, leopard on a kill, leopard mating, rhino and a herd of buffalo…and this was only the first drive! This was followed by a lamb on the spit in the bush and a lovely wedding cake that was crowned with English roses.

Saturday’s game viewing showed 5 lions, elephant, serval cat and the buffalo again. That evening, all 3 vehicles saw 6 lions kill a water buck right there! To top it all, Sunday morning produced another leopard and 3 more lions on a wildebeest kill.

Corinne’s family had come all the way from France to attend the wedding. The guest accommodated at Bush Lodge included Philippe and Dominique, Jeremy and Rudy, Roger and Caroline, Daniel and Laurent, Mona and Bernard, Marilyn and Simon, Thelma, and Natalie and Greg.

Gowrie Camp housed the bride and groom, Simon, John, Paul and Greg, Jo-Anne and Greg, Sharon and Lance, and Avri.

All the staff at Djuma Game Reserve would like to congratulate Corinne and Jason and wish them sincere best wishes for their future together.
