On the 30th of this month, our guests were very blessed in seeing one of the more rare sightings. A lioness was spotted up a tree, where a few hyenas had cornered her. ... Graham Cooke took this series of photographs.

These photos are of a leopard kill which happened just before Christmas. The male leopard, Newington (Pink Nose) waited all night outside of a warthog burrow. When the female pig finally ran out, quite late in the morning, the leopard caught her.

Helen Rohrs made this almost sinister series of photographs at a buffalo killed by lions. The hyenas and vultures were squabbling over the last few scraps.
