Cape Hunting Dog update

Now the alpha female has given birth to a litter of eight pups. So, where there until recently were no permanent wild dogs there is a pack of sixteen in little more than a year!
 

Douglas, Jock of the savannah

Douglas is a bull-terrier dog and a true bush character. He is rugged and almost looks dangerous, but his exterior hides a heart of gold.
 

Cape Hunting Dogs

Unfortunately these magnificent hunters have become scarce throughout their former range in Africa. Thus there was great excitement at Djuma Game Reserve when a pack established itself on the property and gave birth to a litter of pups!
 

Nomfu, babe of the savannah

A baby warthog joins the family at Djuma Game Reserve. A wild pig found in Africa, she turned out to be quite a character!
