Yellow-billed Kite Milvus milvus parasitis

These birds are breeding migrants, coming down from equatorial regions of Africa, from around July through to March. They can be found in a wide range of habitats and often around human settlement. They are great opportunists. Breeding is done during the months of September to November, with both parents, mainly the female, incubating for upto 38 days. They will feed on virtually any part of an animal they find as well as insects.
