Wood Sandpiper Tringa glareola
These birds migrate to Southern Asia, Australia and Southern Africa, where they are commonly seen within their range. They are found on the any body of water with adequate shorelines. They are usually found alone but have been seen in-groups of upto 50 birds. They feed on worms, newly hatched fish, insects and small crabs. |
