Redbacked Shrike Lanius collurio
They breed in Western Asia and Europe, migrating to this area in October to April, living in woodland scrub areas, usually found by themselves. Considered being common in the Djuma area. They feed on Insects and small reptiles. Birds ringed in Germany have been found in Malawi and others from Zambia recovered in Czechoslovakia. |
