BLACK HEADED ORIOLE Oriolus larvatus

This bird has a very liquid sounding call which is a common sound in the area. They are a striking yellow colour with a black head.

They will feed mainly on fruits and are said to have a very quick digestion period, said to be around 5 minutes. They will nest in trees, placed in a fork at the end of a branch. The chicks get fed on caterpillars. There is no record of the incubation period for this bird.
