Bronzewinged Courser Rhinoptilus chalcopterus

They are considered to be uncommon but are common in certain areas and are mainly found in the north and north east of the country. They seem to be resident in the northern sections of the country and migrate to the south-eastern areas during the months of September to May. They will breed between July and December, both sexes incubating for upto 27 days and found mainly in woodland areas. They eat insects.
