African Hawk Eagle Hieraaetus spilogaster

They are considered to be one of the most rapacious birds of prey in the country and are either found alone or move about in pairs. They can be found in Southern Areas of Eurasia. This eagle is considered to be uncommon to fairly common in certain areas. They are usually found in woodland areas. They will usually breed from May to July. Both the male and female incubate the eggs for a period of upto 44 days. Only 1 chick is reared, due to cainism. They feed mainly on francolin and guinea fowl.
