| The
big-game hunters' term 'the big five' refers to the five most famous of
the great African mammals: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.
These are regularly sighted at DJUMA. However, there is much more to the
African savannah than the big five. All the plains mammals are to be found
at DJUMA, whose ecosystem is largely unaffected. For example, if one's
interest is in bird life DJUMA offers more than three hundred species
of birds.
