Comments on: Fair well but not goodbye Experience the Magic of Djuma Live! What happened to the Lodge? Is it still up and running? Remember your source for a healthy safari,( kleenes, clorox wipes, Purel, etc) and keep us posted on what and where you end up so we can follow you. My best to Marc and Seb if you hear from them.

By: Tinker Thu, 02 Feb 2012 04:12:00 +0000 So glad I checked back! Thanks for the wonderful update. Looks like things are starting to dry out in the area. I look forward to future updates from Jaco and Texan. When we get one from you Tara, it will surely be a pleasant surprise. Take care until you write again!

By: littldov Wed, 01 Feb 2012 15:05:16 +0000 thanks tara for the update, we will miss you, we miss Marc, Seb, Patrick, Rex, and most of all the Safari with Karula and kids, the Gowrie gang. and all the other denizens of Djuma. Each morning I think how nice it would be to sign on to Safari and travel through the bush. Maybe some day again.

Good luck in what ever you have chosen what to do, will miss you blog, but I know the others will do just as good as you. If you see Marc, given him our Love please, and also a big hug from us.

God bless!! From Joyce Morgan aka littldov

By: AnnieUK Wed, 01 Feb 2012 11:26:36 +0000 Hi again Tara.

It sounds as if you have a new position?
I gather this from one of the accompanying blogs.
Some of us do not know about this , so we can only guess?
I hope that Marc and Seb are also settled?
We look forward to any bits of news in future, and really look forward to a return visit to Djuma!
We wait and we wish you the very best.
Thanks so much for everything and hope to hear from you before too long.

By: Elaine Green Wed, 01 Feb 2012 07:48:07 +0000 Thank you Tara for your words and pictures. We would have been lost without you. You have taken the time and trouble to keep us informed and bless you for that. God speed and good luck – and come back soon.

By: Red Robin Wed, 01 Feb 2012 04:55:14 +0000 Thanks again, Tara. So well spoken and the photos are treasures. Will keep up with your other blog and thank you for your friendship and attention to us around the world. Looking forward to Texan and Jaco as they take up the mantle. Thank you Tara and thank you Djuma. Diane

By: Penny Corcoran Wed, 01 Feb 2012 01:05:16 +0000 I am unable to express my gratitude for the blog. I’ve been reduced to watching old vids. Some I have memorized. Your blog was so well written and gave me just enough of a boost to carry on. Best to you and all the others who have given us such pleasure at Djuma. I’m looking forward to hearing your news once you are settled. Thank you so much.

That orchid at the beginning looks like a phalenopsis orchid–the kind commonly sold in the USA–smiliar petals and architecture.

Love the photos and update from the floods!
