Hi all, bit of bad news with the Safari Cam vehicle, clearly it is a bit more tired than I thought. Anyway, the pulley bearing problem will be sorted today, hopefully in time for PM drive. But, I have asked the top mechanic here in Hoedspruit to go to the lodge tomorrow and go over old Ganda and all the problems it may have so that we can depend upon it into the future. Thank you for your patience!! As we said, this is a rescue operation of our beloved Safari Cam and so there will be some issues as we go along.

No worries….we will wait patiently .Mark does such a good job of just “talking” to us it is not to disappointing.we do have something at least.
Absolutely we will wait for Ganda’s rehabilitation to be completed. I can’t promise I will be all that patients though since the safari drives have been the highlight of my days during my own rehabilitation from some medical issues.
Look forward to havinv Ganda and all the presenters and camera people back to work
Facing these inevitable problems as they come – together. Kinda like our lives. We understand and are with you – grateful, we are, that you are there and still care.
Jurie, I thank you for all you are doing. We are a flexible bunch and are more than content to talk with Marc and Seb. Conversations bring us even closer and make us appreciate the drives all the more. Thank you for your attention to this wonderful site that we love so much. Don’t worry, we are behind you all the way.
We are patient, Jurie. I am just so happy that you have taken on this challenge for us. We appreciate the drives so much and pray that they can continue.
More than willing to wait for repairs. Please keep us occupied with the voices of Marc, Seb and Tara in the meantime. So much knowledge and humor to share. It is wonderful when they join us on the dam cam chat and just talk for the 3 hours…or just go sit by the dam in a vehicle (maybe the jigga?) to talk and observe. Thank You very much for bringing this experience to us half way around the world.
Keep the Faith folks – you guys have been working on the vehicles / cameras SOOO hard to keep things “live” and we REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT ! I’m sure you’re all frustrated, but the light at the end of the tunnel is not an on-coming train! Hang in there !
very well said!!!
Much appreciated for the information and share!
