animals. the beautiful Karula and her cubs, Floppy Ear and her family, Induna, Mixo, and all the other animals we have been introduced to over the years and months.

For instance Karula and her cubs. I know there are updates on them and how they are doing, but if they could be presented commercially through the sale of outerwear with their
pictures on them, perhaps stories about their adventures for children and advertising Karula, the queen of Djuma and her family as one of the many reasons to come to Djuma reserve.

Karula is well known all over the world as the Queen of Djuma. She could be the face of Djuma. Karula could save the camera and drives. I am sure there are much more inventive ideas involving the animals of Djuma, after all that is why we are so hooked on the safaris and their presenters.

I’m sure that school children would be excited to learn about the animals through viewing the safaris and reading about Karula and her family.

I realize these ideas seem far fetched, but maybe, just maybe Karula and her family could help save the camera and the safaris, maybe not this way but perhaps someone could come up with some other ideas. When you have something in your hands from Djuma, the place where you watch Krula and where all the animals live, you will feel as if you are truly connected the Djuma.

Have you ever looked at marketing souvenir or promotional type items such as counted cross stitch or needlepoint kits designed from photos of some of the animals or of the lodge? How about a field guide filled with photos of the most commonly seen animals and the stories behind those that we all love so well? I think kids would love a coloring book with the presenters and the animals—-great souvenir for guests to take back to grandchildren, etc. Have you ever considered offering DVD’s featuring highlights from archived drives? An active web store could bring in some good revenue. Just ideas.

Just went to Market and there on TV Screen at door were Drakenberg Mtns. We do long for that part of the world and all that Safari was able to bring to us. We are with you.
